Xiaomi Launches 34″ WQHD 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor

Xiaomi is looking to break into the western gaming monitor market, this time with a new 34-inch ultra-wide display. It ticks a lot of the right boxes for gaming, with a 3440×1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, in addition to a 1500R curve in the panel.

Xiaomi's new monitor comes with the rather easy to understand name “Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34”. The monitor has a resolution of 3440×1440 and a display ratio of 21:9. The panel itself has an “extreme curvature” of 1500R, creating a nice wrap-around effect in your field of view. To accommodate gamers, Xiaomi has given the monitor a refresh rate of 144Hz and the screen has a 4ms G2G response time.

Xiaomi's new gaming monitor has a Colour Gamut of 121% sRGB, a brightness of 300 cd/m², and a contrast ratio: 3000:1. When it comes to ports the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34 comes with two HDMI 2.0, two DP1.4 ports and one audio port. One of the biggest selling points for the monitor is it's relatively low price for its size and features.

The screen is available in the European market for a MSRP of €399. Additional information can be found HERE.
