Silverstone releases 500W and 600W ET-MG modular PSUs

Silverstone has added two new ET-MG PSUs to its portfolio. The 500W ET500-MG and the 600W ET600-MG ATX power supplies are fully modular, offering multiple options to power your components, and are certified with 80PLUS Gold power efficiency.

As 80 PLUS Gold power supplies, their efficiency can be as high as 90% when at 100% load, reducing wasted energy and associated power costs. The 135mm fans equipped to cool these units are rated with a typical noise output of 18dBA, making them perfect for “home or office use”.

Featuring a single +12V rail design, the ET-MG power supplies were designed to fulfil your component upgrades and overclocking needs. To ensure the reliability, durability and safety of these units, Silverstone decided to use Japanese capacitors and a wide set of “advanced protections”, such as OCP, OPP, OVP, SCP, OTP, and UVP.

The fully-modular design and the multiple included black flat cables allow you to easily route the system's cabling through your case without the excessive cables that come in non-modular designs. The cables included in the packaging offer 1x MB 24-pin connector, 1x CPU 8-pin and 1x CPU4+4-pin connectors, 2x PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors, 8x SATA connectors, and 3x peripheral 4-pin connectors.

Silverstone hasn't shared the price and availability of the new ET-MG PSUs, but you can still learn more about them HERE (ET500-MG) and HERE (ET600-MG).

KitGuru says: Would any of the ET-MG power supplies be a worthwhile upgrade for your system? Would you choose the ET600-MG for the extra power output or would the ET500-MG be enough for you?
