Last week, Sony announced the next wave of games heading to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, including older titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Watch Dogs, alongside smaller titles like Deceive Inc, Crime Boss: Rockay City and Cat Quest. Now, Sony has announced the next wave of games leaving the library, with subscribers set to lose access to 12 titles in June.
Sony typically announces games leaving PS+ a month in advance, giving players plenty of warning before losing access. It would seem that Take-Two is being careful to not offer two major Rockstar titles on the service at any one time, as the addition of Red Dead Redemption 2 is immediately being followed by Grand Theft Auto V leaving the library.
The full list of games leaving PS+ Extra this month includes:
- GTA 5 – PS4, PS5
- MotoGP 23 – PS4, PS5
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated – PS4
- Monster Jam: Steel Titans – PS4
- Unturned – PS4
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – PS4
- DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace – PS4
- Dodgeball Academia – PS4
- The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition – PS4
- The Wild at Heart – PS4
- Indivisible – PS4
PS+ Premium subscribers will lose access to one ‘Classic' title – Baja: Edge of Control HD, a PS4 remaster of the original game.

KitGuru Says: Grand Theft Auto V will no doubt return to Game Pass and PS+ at some point down the line as Rockstar prepares to say goodbye to GTA Online in its original form. GTA multiplayer will be revamped for Grand Theft Auto 6, with a whole new map and hopefully some fun new gameplay modes, as Rockstar has teamed up with the developers behind FiveM, the widely popular RP mod for GTA V.
