HyperX releases the Alloy Elite 2 mechanical keyboard

HyperX's newly released Alloy Elite 2 mechanical keyboard succeeds the original Alloy Elite by introducing new features such as HyperX mechanical switches, pudding keycaps, and improved RGB lighting.

The linear HyperX Red switches of the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 were built to be fast and durable, with a rated life span of 80 million keystrokes, 45g of operation force, a 1.8mm actuation point and a total travel distance of 3.8mm. These switches are covered by HyperX translucent ABS pudding keycaps that allow the light to shine through them compared to “solid-colour keycaps”. Additionally, the HyperX Red switches also come with “an exposed LED” that further intensifies the RGB lighting.

Just like its predecessor, the Alloy Elite 2 has dedicated keys for macros, a game mode, a volume wheel and uses a solid steel frame that improves durability. This keyboard also features a USB 2.0 pass-through, “N-Key rollover functionalities”, and 100% anti-ghosting.

You can use the HyperX NGENUITY software to customise the Alloy Elite 2 mechanical keyboard. Through the software, you are able to set up per-key RGB lighting and effects, create macros and customise the keyboard's game mode. Additionally, the multi-platform compatibility – PC, Xbox One, and PS4 – allows you to connect the Alloy Elite 2 on multiple platforms via its braided cable and USB-A interface.

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 is available now, with an MSRP of $129.99/€159.90. You can learn more about this keyboard HERE.
