All the way back in December 2019, Obsidian announced that it was planning and working on additional DLC for The Outer Worlds. It has taken quite some time to get to this point, but Obsidian appears to be ready to bring The Outer Worlds back into our lives.
The official Twitter account for The Outer Worlds and the official website for the game were both updated today:
Greetings employees of Halcyon,
The Board is pleased to announce that we have been able to acquire a portion of The Outer Worlds website! Feel free to take an additional 5-minute break today to visit the website, you've earned it! ?✨https://t.co/g3ADukdpfw— The Outer Worlds (@OuterWorlds) July 20, 2020
A quick visit to the website gives a teaser for a ‘special message from Spacer's Choice', one of the big corporations in The Outer Worlds' universe. After skipping that, we get an advertisement for Adrena-Time, one of the consumable items in the game. The posters are slightly different each time too, so there may be more to this teaser than initially meets the eye.
So far, nothing official has been announced but the Xbox Games Showcase is coming up in just a couple of days time. Perhaps Obsidian will be bringing new content for The Outer Worlds in addition to another look at Grounded.
