There has been plenty of discussion around Nintendo's security over the last few months. That conversation is stirring up again this week as Nintendo has suffered another leak, although this one won't directly impact customers and Nintendo Switch owners. It could do wonders for Nintendo fan modders though.
On Twitter and other forums like ResetEra, users have been circulating Nintendo Source Code leaks for various games. So far, the tweet below seems to have the most up to date breakdown of everything that has been leaked by hackers, or possible rogue developers, so far:

Aside from full development repositories for games like Pokemon Diamond and apps like the Wii Shop Channel, the leak also contains the source code for classic Nintendo titles like Mario Kart, Star Fox, Yoshi's Island, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and more.
There are also some of Nintendo's own internal emulators included, including consoles like the Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo Wii's virtual console. Rumour has it that the people behind this leak actually have more in their possession and are making it public slowly. With that in mind, the source code for games like Mario 64 could also end up becoming public.
Why exactly these leaks are taking place is unclear and so far, Nintendo has not responded. The leaks are valid though, as users have been able to use the source code to compile the games themselves.
KitGuru Says: We'll likely hear some updates on this next week, whether that be from the leakers or from Nintendo themselves.
