EA Access is coming to Steam soon

Back in late 2019 when EA announced that it would be bringing its games back to Steam, the publisher also announced plans to bring over the EA Access subscription service. Now all these months later, it looks like EA Access is due to go live on Steam any day now.

This week, a Steam Store page for EA Access popped up, confirming that the £3.99 per month subscription would be coming to Valve's platform soon, bringing discounts to EA's content library, 10-year free trials for most games and free access to a vault of titles from EA's backlog, often including games released 9 months ago or more.

Presumably, EA Access will cost the same on Steam as it does on Origin, in which case, it will be £3.99 per month or £19.99 per year. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Origin Access Premier will also be coming to Steam, which allows access to new games on the day of release, in addition to all DLC.

That doesn't mean EA Access Premier won't be available on Steam or other non-Origin platforms in the future, but for now, it looks like EA is keeping the higher tier as an Origin-only feature.

KitGuru Says: EA Access isn't a bad deal, particularly if there are a few games you would like to revisit or play for the first time like Dead Space, Titanfall 2, Battlefield etc. Will any of you be getting EA Access on Steam?
