AMD's Ryzen PRO desktop processors were released earlier this week and not long after, MSI announced that its 500-series motherboards support the new CPUs from AMD.
In a recent announcement, MSI said that “of course, MSI 500-series motherboards including X570 and B550 platform are perfectly compatible for the Ryzen PRO 4000 Series Processors.” MSI compared the new generation CPUs from AMD to the previous generations Ryzen 3000 series processors and said that the Ryzen PRO 4000 “improves greatly in latency and bandwidth numbers with better efficiency in performance”.
MSI also said that the AMD's new Ryzen CPUs offer greater performance for overclockers and enthusiasts and to showcase this point the Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer has posted several screenshots of overclockers pushing the new processors to their limit using the company's 500-series motherboards with one of the screenshots shows the overclocker TSIAK forcing an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G to 5798.65 MHz.
