Logitech is bringing another gaming headset to its roster. This time around, we are seeing the launch of the Logitech G Pro X Wireless Gaming Headset, complete with ‘Lightspeed' wireless technology designed for top esports players.
Traditionally, wired peripherals are preferred for competitive gaming, but wireless technologies like Logitech LIGHTSPEED have reduced latency to the point where the difference between wired and wireless is negligible. The Pro X Lightspeed is a new version of Logitech's popular Pro X gaming headset.
This wireless version is equipped with 2.4GHz LIGHTSPEED wireless, which paves the way for over 20 hours of battery life and up to 42 feet of wireless range. It also comes with Blue VO!CE software, bringing an additional boost to microphone quality.
The earcups are powered by PRO-G 50mm drivers and support DTS 7.1 surround sound. The Logitech G PRO X Wireless LIGHTSPEED gaming headset is going to be available starting in August with a price tag of $199.99 in the US.
KitGuru Says: The Pro X Wireless looks like a promising headset but we'll have to wait to get hands on to give it a proper judgement. Are any of you in the market for a new gaming headset? What do you think of the latest Pro X from Logitech?
