Konami is now making gaming PCs

Konami might be lagging behind when it comes to new releases in some of its historic game franchises, but it is not lagging behind when it comes to hardware. This week, Konami is taking a step away from Pachinko machines and instead launching a series of decently spec'd gaming PCs. 

The Arespear PC line-up has three entries, the C300, C700, and C700+. The C300 is the cheapest out of the three and will be equipped with an Intel Core i5-9400F, 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, a 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.

Both the C700 and C700+ have identical hardware specs – an Intel Core i7-9700 CPU, 16 GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD, a 1 TB HDD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super. The only thing that separates the two gaming desktops is that the C700+ comes with a windowed panel.

The C300 comes at a price of about £1,350, the C700 for about £2300 and the C700+ will cost you about £2500. To start, these systems will primarily be available in Japan, with shipping set to begin in late September. However, there is always the possibility that these could spread to other markets eventually.
