Each month, PlayStation adds a number of new titles to its games subscription service PlayStation Now. The month of August appears to be a particularly strong month, as the lineup of 9 games include titles such as Hitman 2, Greedfall and Dead Cells.
The full list of games joining PS Now this month are:
- AO Tennis 2
- Dead Cells
- GreedFall
- Hitman 2
- Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid
- Pure Farming 2018
- The Sinking City
- Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr
- WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship
While most of these titles will be joining the service indefinitely, the two headlining games – Hitman 2 and Dead Cells – are temporary additions, with both titles available on the service for 6 months; leaving on the 1st of February 2021.
It is also worth noting that two major titles are set to be leaving the service at the end of the month. Remedy’s Control and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which were both added back in March, will be removed on the 1st of September, so if you have yet to play either of these titles, now would be the time.
With Microsoft’s recent doubling down on Xbox Game Pass, some fans questioned whether Sony would retaliate by drastically changing its own PlayStation Now service.
While this month doesn't necessarily indicate that, August’s line-up is its strongest in a while, and so it’ll be interesting to see how Sony continues to treat the service moving forward and into the next generation.
