MSI announces the Optix MAG271VCR curved gaming monitor

MSI's latest addition to its monitor portfolio is the Optix MAG271VCR monitor. Featuring high refresh rates, fast response times, and Adaptive Sync, the Optix MAG271VCR is a well-rounded gaming monitor that “will give you the competitive edge you need to take down your opponents”.

Featuring a 27-inch curved (1800R) VA panel with a FullHD resolution, 1ms response time (MPRT), and a 165Hz refresh rate, the Optix MAG271VCR offers an immersive gaming experience. The 178°(H)/178°(V) viewing angles, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 250nits of brightness, allows this 8-bit panel to cover 99.92% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and 114.59% of the sRGB colour gamut.

The MSI Optix MAG271VCR comes with Mystic Light support, allowing you to customise and synchronise the RGB LEDs in the back of the monitor with other Mystic Light compatible products and components. To do so, you just have to download the Mystic Light App and choose the RGB effects and colours that suit your taste.

Through Adaptive Sync technology, the Optix MAG271VCR eliminates tearing and stuttering, displaying smoother visuals to achieve a superior visual experience. To further improve this experience, this monitor uses a frameless design that allows you to create a “multi-monitor 180º setup” with better continuity between the screens.

Connectivity options include a DisplayPort 1.2a, an HDMI 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a USB-B 2.0 port, and an audio-out 3.5mm jack. Besides swivelling (±30º) and tilting (-5º to 18º), you can also adjust the height of the monitor by 62mm. Additionally, it supports 75x75mm VESA mounting to further improve its ergonomic features.

Pricing and availability of the Optix MAG271VCR haven't been shared yet. You can learn more about this monitor HERE. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
