Fractal Design gives a closer look at its new ‘Fractal Mood’ ITX PC case

Introducing the Mood, a new compact and stylish PC case from Fractal. With its low-volume and space-saving pillar format, the Fractal Mood presents a compact footprint that seamlessly integrates into any setup. The outer body, crafted with “breathable” fabric and clean lines are intended to allow your PC to blend in better in modern homes.

The Fractal Mood's user-friendly design simplifies the building process by enabling easy access to the interior. To do it, just pop the back panel and slide off the fabric-covered enclosure to enjoy full access to the case's internals. This approach ensures that hardware installation and maintenance are hassle-free and appealing to PC builders.

The Fractal Mood offers ample space to accommodate up to 325mm long graphics cards, which can be connected to the system using the included PCIe 4.0 riser cable. Moreover, the case prioritises effective cooling with its integrated 180mm Dynamic fan positioned at the top. For users planning to pair the Mood with water cooling, the Fractal Mood provides compatibility for up to 280mm radiators. Alternatively, it supports up to 114mm tall CPU air coolers.

Its front-facing I/O panel includes a USB-C 20Gbps port. Furthermore, the case features tool-less removal of the exterior, along with multiple cable tying points within the interior for hassle-free cable management. There are also two 2.5″ drive brackets equipped with ball catchers and an additional 3.5″ drive mount. Lastly, the case includes a removable, magnet-fastened dust filter that helps you keep your system clean.

KitGuru says: There's no denying that the Mood is a good-looking case, in part due to the usage of the fabric covering the panels. Would you like to build a small form factor system in one of these?
