Alphacool releases the HDX Pro Air SSD cooler and Eisfluegel Aurora RGB flow indicator

Alphacool has recently launched a new SSD cooler and a new RGB flow indicator. Compatible with M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs, the HDX Pro Air SSD cooler is designed to decrease the operating temperatures of M.2 SSD drives. Meanwhile, The Aurora Eisfluegel flow indicator is also on the way, offering RGB-lit flow monitoring for your custom liquid-cooling loop. 

While they offer faster read and write speeds than conventional SSDs and HDDs, M.2 SSDs are prone to reach higher temperatures, which often leads to performance throttling. The HDX Pro Air SSD cooler aims to fight this by offering a big heatsink solution that fits underneath the graphics cards, despite its “large” dimensions.

The HDX Pro Air SSD cooler is made of aluminium and features a rated thermal pad conductivity of 3 W/mk. This cooler consists of a heatsink to put on top on the SSD and a backplate to further improve its cooling capacity. The heatsink measures 68x22x6.4mm (LxWxH), while the backplate measures 68.8x22x2mm.

The Alphacool Aurora Eisfluegel RGB flow indicator is a small flow sensor made of plexi glass. Featuring 8x ARGB LEDs, the Aurora Eisfluegel can be paired with monitoring software to inform you about the flow rate of your custom loop, capable of reading from 70 to 300 L/h.

You just need a 3/4-pin fan connector to power the Aurora Eisfluegel RGB flow indicator, but an additional Digital RGB LED 3-Pin JST is needed for the ARGB LEDs. Given its lightweight, you can mount it between hoses or anywhere inside your case thanks to Velcro mat that comes included.
