Razer launches the Naga Pro wireless mouse with magnetic side plates

Razer has updated the Naga gaming mouse to create the Naga Pro, a wireless gaming mouse with everything that made the original the success that it is today, and then some. No matter what type of game you're playing, the three swappable side plates allow you to adapt the mouse to your needs.

The Naga Pro is Razer's latest addition to the Razer HyperSpeed wireless lineup. Following the footsteps of the Naga Trinity, the first Razer mouse featuring the modular side plate, the Naga Pro keeps the same design that fans love.

The three magnetic side plates have different button layouts with two, six, or twelve buttons. Each of these layouts is aimed at specific genres of games: the two-button layout is for FPS games, the six-button layout is for BRs and MOBAs, and the twelve-button layout is for MMO and RTS games. With up to 20 configurable buttons, each one can have a secondary function if configured with Razer Hypershift. Additionally, you can configure up to 5 on-board memory presets, without software.

Like other Razer HyperSpeed wireless mouses, the Naga Pro is very power efficient. With up to 100 hours of continuous operation on 2.4GHz, and 150 hours on Bluetooth, you can still game with it while charging with the included Razer SpeedFlex cable. You can also charge it through the Razer Mouse Dock Chroma (not included).

The Naga Pro uses the Razer Focus+ 20K DPI optical sensor to offer pixel-perfect accuracy. This sensor features Motion Sync, to track mouse movements,  and Smart Tracking and Asymmetric Cut-off, which can be used to calibrate the mouse to the user's liking. The Razer optical mouse switches used in the Naga Pro are rated for 70 million clicks, avoiding unintended actions like double clicks resulting from mouse wear.

Alvin Cheung, senior vice president of Razer's peripherals business unit, stated that each one of us plays differently. To fit how each one plays, customisation is an important component to consider when designing a new mouse. By embodying this ideal, the Naga Pro “gives everyone the control to play their own way, unrestrained by a cord”.

Razer Naga Pro is available now for $149.99/€169.99. You can learn more about this mouse HERE.
