Zowie introduces XL-K series of high refresh rate gaming monitors

Zowie is about to release the XL-K series of gaming monitors. This series was designed based on the original XL series, introducing new customisable features that “help amateurs and pros alike be more comfortable in-game”, further improving their gaming ability and results. This series consists of two monitors: the XL2546K and the XL2411K.

The XL-K series will introduce a new smaller base to free up desk space. Height and angle adjustment were also improved to offer more options for gamers to position the display. Both models feature flicker-free technology (DyAc off) and low blue light mode to reduce the user's eye strain.

With XL-K monitors, users will be able to promptly share their settings with anyone they want. The S-Switch and OSD were redesigned to easily access the monitor settings and make it simpler for users to switch between monitor profiles. Both monitors will feature DyAc technology to reduce blur and display a sharper image, Black eQualizer to increase the brightness in darker scenes, Color Vibrance to adjust the colour's tone, and multiple game modes to choose from.

 

The 24.5-inch TN panel equipped in the XL2546K has a FullHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Typical brightness is 320 nits, while the contrast ratio sits at 1000:1. There are 3x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The XL2546K comes with a display shield to help you stay focused on the game and reduce light reflections from other sources. This monitor also comes with the S-Switch to easily and quickly change between profiles and features DyAc+. There's support for 100x100mm VESA wall mounting, but the stand already offers multiple ergonomic features such as tilt (-5º to 23º), pivot (±90º), swivel (±45º) and height adjustment (155mm).

The XL2411K comes with a TN panel with 144Hz refresh rate and FullHD resolution. Typical brightness and contrast ratio are the same as the XL2546K. Connectivity options include a DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Unlike the XL2546K, this one only supports standard DyAc technology and doesn't come with the S-Switch and display shield, but you can add both by purchasing separately. It also has support for VESA mounting (100x100mm) and the included stand offers the same tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments functions as its bigger “brother”.
