LG's latest addition to its ultrawide monitor portfolio is the 34GN73A. This high refresh rate curved monitor features a fast response time and a multitude of gaming features that give gamers a competitive edge.
The LG 34GN73A uses a 34-inch ultrawide IPS panel with a 2560x1080p resolution, 178º (H)/178º (V) viewing angles, 144Hz refresh rate and a 5ms G2G response time. With 300nits of typical brightness and a 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, this 8-bit panel covers up to 99% of the sRGB colour gamut. This monitor comes colour-calibrated and supports HDR10, despite its “low” brightness.
To offer you a smoother gaming experience, the LG 34GN73A supports AMD FreeSync Premium, and it's rated as “Nvidia G-Sync compatible”. It also features Flicker Safe technology to reduce the user's eye strain, Black Stabiliser to improve the visibility in darker areas, Dynamic Action Sync (DAS) that reduces input lag), and 1ms Motion Blur Reduction to reduce blur and ghosting (not compatible with AMD FreeSync, DAS, or Nvidia G-Sync). Additionally, there's a Reader mode option, an HDR effect setting, and a crosshair overlay.
There are 2x HDMI ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.0 upstream port, 2x USB-A 3.0 ports, and an audio-out 3.5mm jack. The stand allows you to adjust the monitor height by 120mm and tilt it. There's also support for VESA 100x100mm wall mount if you want to further enhance the monitor's ergonomics.
The LG 34GN73A is expected to be available this month for £449.99. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
