Asus introduces the ROG Strix XG32VC QHD curved gaming monitor

Asus latest addition to its monitor portfolio is the XG32VC. “Designed for professional gamers and immersive gameplay”, this monitor features Adaptive Sync, Asus ELMB Sync, low response times, and a high refresh rate to ensure that you stay ahead of the competition.

Featuring a 32-inch curved VA panel (1800R), the XG32VC delivers crispy and smooth visuals thanks to its QHD resolution, 170Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT response time. This panel has a maximum brightness of 400nits and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, that alongside its 10-bit colour depth, it's capable of covering 125% of the sRGB colour gamut and 90% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. Its frameless, gaming-themed design gives this monitor a distinctive look that you can further enhance by customising the RGB LED halo on the back through Asus Aura Sync software, allowing you to synchronise the RGB lighting with other compatible products.

The Adaptive-Sync technology offers you a smoother and tearless gaming experience, no matter if you're using an Nvidia (G-Sync) or AMD (FreeSync Premium) graphics card. Asus ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) technology reduces smearing and motion blur, displaying sharper and fluid visuals. This monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400 to “deliver a wider colour range and higher contrast than traditional monitors”. Additionally, you can choose between Asus Cinema HDR and Gaming HDR, based on the content displayed.

Packed with multiple in-game enhancements, the XG32VC features Shadow Boost, to brighten up darker areas without overexposing brighter ones, and GamePlus, which offers a set of overlays to practise your skills including an FPS counter, crosshair, timer, and a display alignment function. GameVisual technology offers you 8 colours presets to choose from, while low blue light and flicker-free technology reduce the user's eye strain, which is very useful for long gaming sessions.

The ROG Strix XG32VC features a USB-C hub with 2x USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port with DP alt mode. Additionally, there's also an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, and KVM switch support, allowing you to control two devices connected to the monitor with a keyboard and a mouse. This monitor's ergonomic design allows you to tilt (-5º to 20º), swivel (±25º), and adjust its height by 100mm, but you can improve its ergonomics through a VESA 100x100mm mounting bracket.

Pricing and availability of the Asus ROG Strix XG32VC are not known yet. You can learn more about this monitor HERE.
