Last year we saw MSI debut a new line of high-performance laptops for creative professionals. Now in 2020, MSI is expanding on that with a line of business laptops known as the ‘Summit Series', which are among the first laptops to be powered by Intel's new 11th Gen Core processors.
The idea here is to ‘answer the call' for remote workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. The Summit Series is MSI's “first ever line of high-performance business and productivity laptops with features that address changing workforce needs”, as explained by Derek Chen, Global Sales and Marketing Director at MSI Notebook.
This new series of laptops consists of three laptop lines, – The Summit, Prestige and Modern. All three utilise Intel 11th Gen Core processors, a slim and portable chassis, Intel IRIS Xe integrated graphics and TPM 2.0 for enterprise-grade security.
The Summit Series also includes its own built-in AI noise cancellation tool to block out background noise in video conferences. MSI promises 10+ hours of battery life for a full day of work, as well as Windows Hello facial recognition and the option for a multi-touch touchscreen.
Pricing and availability has not been shared yet, but these laptops should start hitting the market soon.
