ViewSonic introduces the Elite XG270Q 165Hz QHD gaming monitor

ViewSonic has announced the new Elite XG270Q gaming monitor. Similar to the Elite XG270QG, this monitor features all the bells and whistles that you expect from a high-end gaming monitor, minus the Nvidia G-Sync module. Nonetheless, it still is a G-Sync compatible monitor.

The ViewSonic Elite XG270Q is equipped with a QHD panel with 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms G2G response time, and wide 178º (H)/178º (V) viewing angles. This 8-bit IPS panel has a 400nits of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Adaptive Sync allows you to experience tearless gaming sessions without stuttering, while the DisplayHDR400 certification offers you improved contrast and improves the “gaming environment realism”. This monitor also features flicker-free technology and blue light filter to reduce the user's eye strain and a 16.8 million colours RGB halo on the back that you can customise using the Elite display controller and synchronise with Elite RGB Alliance members RGB ecosystem. The Elite Display controller also allows you to access the monitor's OSD, allowing you to change its settings fast and easy.

The Elite XG270Q has 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5mm audio-out port, and a USB-hub with 3x USB-A 3.2 ports. The monitor's backlight life is rated for 30000 hours of operation. Ergonomic features include a height adjustment function (115mm), swivel (±60º), tilt (-5º to 20º), and pivot (±90º). VESA 100x100mm mounting brackets are also supported.

Pricing and availability details of the ViewSonic Elite XG270Q have not been disclosed. You can learn more about this monitor HERE.
