Adata releases the XPG Gammix S70 PCIe 4.0 SSD

Adata has announced a new PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD for gamers and tech enthusiasts. The XPG Gammix S70 is the latest addition to the XPG's lineup of PCIe 4.0 SSDs, which includes both the Gammix S50 and S50 Lite. By delivering “unmatched read and write performance” through the PCIe 4.0×4 interface, the Gammix S70 is the ” world's fastest M.2 SSD”.

With sequential read/write speeds of up to 7400/6400MB/s, the Gammix S70 is at a whole new level of performance. This SSD features NVMe 1.4, backwards compatibility with PCIe 3.0, DRAM Cache Buffer, and Dynamic SLC caching, offering a storage solution that it's not only flexible and convenient, as it is “far superior to that of SATA and PCIe 3.0 SSDs”.

XPG's proprietary aluminium heat sink features a “terraced structure with hollow chambers underneath” so that airflow can efficiently cool it. The increased surface of the heat sink also helps in cooling the SSD, offering temperature reductions of up to 30%.

With an M.2 2280 form factor, the Gammix S70 will be available with 1TB and 2TB of storage capacity. This SSD also features LDPC error-correcting code technology, allowing it to detect and fix data errors automatically, increasing the TBW rating (2M hours) and providing more reliable data transmissions. For additional security, the Gammix S70 includes End-to-End (E2E) Data Protection, RAID Engine support, and AES 256-bit Encryption.

Pricing and availability details of the Adata XPG Gammix S70 have not been disclosed yet, but it will be backed by a 5-year warranty. You can learn more about this SSD HERE.
