ASUS announces refreshed B450 motherboards coming in October

ASUS is expanding its lineup of B450 motherboards this week, aiming to boost “the utility and flexibility of this platform” with a refreshed set of motherboards that deliver “great performance at a solid value”.

As part of the B450 refresh line-up, each new motherboard coms with ASUS' BIOS FlashBack for easy firmware upgrades without a processor. High-capacity firmware chips are also in place for the broadest possible Ryzen processor support. This brings more flexibility to users configuring their next Ryzen-powered build, giving the option to opt for a faster processor while saving some money on the motherboard side of things. These new B450 motherboards also come with extra RGB LED headers on select models, support for AI noise cancelling microphone software and compatibility with the ASUS Armoury Crate system management tool.

The following motherboards are re-launching under the ASUS B450 II line-up:

  • ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II
  • TUF Gaming B450-Plus II
  • TUF Gaming B450M-Pro II
  • TUF Gaming B450M-Plus II
  • Prime B450M-A II
  • Prime B450M-K II

All six new B450 motherboards are set to be available here in the UK from late October, at which time, pricing will also be announced.
