RTX 3090 leaked benchmarks show up to 20% faster performance than RTX 3080

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 launch is right around the corner, but the first benchmarks of this graphics cards have already been leaked. These leaked Benchmarks include results from Time Spy, Geekbench, Superposition, Blender, and multiple games with RTX/DLSS and without it.

As shared by VideoCardz, the RTX 3090 scores about 20387 in Time Spy (1440p, GPU), and 10328 in Time Spy Extreme (4K, GPU). This translates into a 20% performance improvement over the already available RTX 3080 in the Time Spy test, and 19% performance improvement in the Time Spy Extreme. The RTX 20 series flagship and Super graphics cards were also compared, ranging from +116% performance with the RTX 2060 Super to 42% with the RTX 2080 Ti in Time Spy benchmark, and starting at +133% performance with the RTX 2060 Super to +58% performance with the RTX 2080 Ti in the Time Spy Extreme test.

Known leaker @TUM_APISAK also shared an entry listed on the Geekbench database of an RTX 3090 which scored 249153 in the CUDA benchmark compared to the 215361 scored by the RTX 3080. This is an increase of 15.7% over the RTX 3080.

VideoCardz also spotted some Blender benchmarks, On average the RTX 3090 was 19.7% faster than the RTX 3080. The following table shows the difference between the RTX 3090 and the RTX 3080 in the different Blender benchmarks:

The gaming benchmarks came from the same team to publish the first RTX 3080 review, TecLab. The test system was using an Intel Core i9-10900K clocked at 5GHz and 32GB of DDR4-4133 RAM. The benchmark results from TecLab's video review were all consolidated in the following table:
