Dell launches new UltraSharp monitors and a small soundbar

Dell has announced a set of new monitors to “help creatives and office professionals work productively and comfortably”, be it at home or at the office. The new monitors belong to the Dell Ultrasharp series, offering exquisite designs, good ergonomics, and impressive colour accuracy.

As per this research, the vast majority of employees believe that monitors with high-resolutions, improved ergonomics, and enhanced colour accuracy improve the overall working experience. Considering this, Dell designed these new Ultrasharp monitors featuring “state-of-the art technology” such as mini-LED, built-in colourimeter and low blue light reduction displays.

Bert Park, senior vice president and general manager of the software and peripherals product group at Dell Technologies, claims that Dell monitors have “always been the most desired companion to any PC”, and the upcoming Ultrasharp monitors aren't the exception. With these monitors, Dell will help customers increase their productivity while providing a high-performance, stylish and comfortable display.

The top of the line UP3221Q is the “world’s first professional monitor with 2K mini-LED direct backlit dimming zones”, increasing the overall contrast of the screen by controlling each of these zones individually. Covering 99.8% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, this 32-inch monitor features a 4K resolution and is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 1000. Additionally, it features a built-in Calman powered colourimeter, allowing creators to calibrate the monitor whenever they want.

Jumping to the U2421E and the U3421WE, these monitors were designed to offer “the ideal balance between comfort and functionality”. The U2421E features a 24-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and it's the company's first monitor with ComfortView Plus – built-in, TÜV Rheinland-certified Hardware Low Blue Light solution. The U3421WE comes with a 34-inch screen with WQHD resolution and covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, providing users with an incredible audiovisual experience thanks to its curvature and built-in dual speakers.

Dell also announced a small soundbar that you can pair with the new P-series monitors and the newly released U2421E. The Dell Slim Sound bar (SB521) attaches magnetically to the bottom of the screen without interfering with the tilting, swivelling, and pivoting capabilities of the monitors. The SB521 features 3.6W speakers in a plug-and-play solution that enhances your audio experience thanks to its high-quality sound.

The Dell U2421E and the Slim Sound bar are available now for $449.99 and $54.99, respectively. The Dell UP3221Q will be available on November 5th for $4999.99, while the DELL U3421WE will be available on December 1st for $1199.99.
