SteelSeries launches Arctis 7X and 7P wireless headsets

Today, SteelSeries is preparing for the next generation of gaming with two new headsets specifically made for the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5. Utilising the best components of the original Arctis 7 and adding the USB-C dongle from the Arctis 1,  SteelSeries hopes that the Arctis 7X and 7P will be on next-gen console buyers' shopping lists.

Both the SteelSeries 7X and 7P come with the same specs and features, with the key difference being that the X is built for Xbox and the P is built for PlayStation. Both use SteelSeries wireless 2.4GHz UCB-C dongle to easily swap between consoles and PC for audio. Meanwhile, SteelSeries also boasts “lossless wireless technology” to allow gamers to play with full-fidelity audio and without lag.

These headsets are said to be industry-leaders when it comes to battery life, offering 24 hours of non-stop use wirelessly. Other iconic Arctis features, like the Ski Goggle headband design, Discord ClearCast noise-cancelling microphone and on-headset controls also return to improve the overall user experience.

A new feature called Sidetone is being implemented too, allowing users to monitor their microphones and hear their own voice through the headset along with everyone else in the call.

The Arctis 7P and the Arctis 7X are both launching now for £159.99. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
