ABZÛ is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, the Epic Games Store offers a number of free games to users of its ecosystem. Following on from last week’s offering of Pikuniku, those with an Epic Games account can now get their hands on the underwater exploration title ABZÛ, as well as the 64-player tactical shooter Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. Both titles are available to ‘purschase’ for free from now until the 15th of October.

From the art director for ThatGameCompany’s Journey and Flower, ABZÛ will see you “Immerse yourself in a vibrant ocean world full of mystery and bursting with color and life,” as players perform “fluid acrobatics as the Diver using graceful swimming controls.”

You’ll come to discover “hundreds of unique species based on real creatures and form a powerful connection with the abundant sea life,” as you “Interact with schools of thousands of fish that procedurally respond to you, each other, and predators.”

ABZÛ saw a positive reception from both fans and critics alike when it released back in 2016. If you are a fan of ThatGameCompany’s offerings, ABZÛ is definitely worth trying out.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam offers “64-player MP matches; 20+ maps; US Army & Marines, PAVN/NVA, NLF/VC; Australians and ARVN forces; 50+ weapons; 4 flyable helicopters; mines, traps and tunnels; Brutal. Authentic. Gritty. Character customization.”

Released in 2017 exclusively for PC, the tactical first person shooter received generally favorutie reviews across the board thanks in part to its realism and strategic focus.

Both ABZÛ and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam are currently free to purchase and keep forever, and will be available from now until the 15th of October, at which point they’ll be replaced by Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and Kingdom New Lands.
