AOC’s U28G2AE packs a 4K IPS panel with FreeSync

AOC has unveiled a new 4K gaming monitor – the AOC U28G2AE gaming monitor, featuring FreeSync and fast response times, ensuring a high-resolution gaming experience without tearing or stutter.

Featuring a 4K IPS panel with 1ms MPRT response time (4ms G2G response time), 178/178º viewing angles, and a 60Hz refresh rate, the U28G2AE monitor can cover 119% of the sRGB and 89% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut. The 10-bit panel has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 300nits of brightness.

To elevate your gaming experience, the U28G2AE supports FreeSync to ensure “that the GPU’s and monitor’s refresh rates are synchronised”, providing a tear-free gaming experience. There are also 6x games modes to choose from that can users can easily switch between thanks to the AOC Settings KeyPad. The U28G2AE also features AOC Low Input Lag, “rewiring the monitor in favour of raw response time”, and the G-menu, a piece of software that you can use to customise your monitor more conveniently.

Connectivity options include an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2, and an audio-out 3.5mm jack. The monitor also features 2x built-in 3W speakers. The included stand has limited ergonomic features, allowing the user to tilt the monitor by -5º to 23º, but there's VESA 100x100mm support if you wish to enhance the monitor's ergonomic capabilities with bracket.

Pricing and availability details have not been disclosed yet. You can learn more about this monitor HERE.
