HyperX introduces new Wireless Cloud Buds

HyperX has announced the addition of the new wireless Cloud Buds to its portable audio gear portfolio. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0, the upcoming Cloud Buds are a “discrete and portable” set of earphones suitable for gaming, entertainment, voice calls and work meetings, making it a very good all-around audio solution for your daily needs.

The Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity features Qualcomm aptX HD for easy pairing. The 14mm neodymium dynamic drivers feature a 20Hz-20KHz frequency response, an impedance of 65.2Ω, and a maximum noise level of up to 104±3dB, delivering the signature HyperX sound in a new format. The two earbuds are connected with a neckband and feature a wireless range of up to 10m. The omnidirectional microphone features a 100Hz-7.2KHz frequency response and a sensitivity of -16.5dBV.

Designed with comfort in mind, the new HyperX Cloud Buds come with three pairs of HyperX patented silicone ear tips to choose from. With just 27.5g, these earbuds are very light and comfortable to use. The in-line mic and multi-function buttons make the Cloud Buds very convenient for calls, control the music you're listening to, and use digital assistants. In terms of battery life, you can expect 10 hours of use before needing to recharge.

Andrew Ewing, console product business manager at HyperX, stated that the new Cloud Buds can be used from “casual listening and hassle-free gaming to jumping on the next conference call or catching up with family and friends”, making it a versatile and comfortable sound solution with long battery life.

The HyperX Cloud Buds are available now at $59.99 and come with a mesh travel pouch to store them. You can learn more about the Cloud Buds HERE.
