Palit introduces the GeForce RTX 3070 Jetstream series

Palit had already shown the design of their RTX 3090 and 3080 in the form of the GameRock and GamingPro graphics cards. Now it's time for us to see what they have been holding for the RTX 3070.

In a Twitter post, Palit revealed the RTX 3070 Jetstream series of graphics cards. Compared to the other RTX Palit cards, this one features a more subtle design, with less RGB lighting, and instead of using a 3-fan design, there are 2x fans to cool the card. Between the two fans, there's a grey JetStream logo that might have some type of lighting, but we are unsure if it's RGB.

From what we've gathered from the video, the Palit RTX 3070 Jetstream will be powered by 2x 8-pin power connectors, located in the top-middle of the card, leading to some potential issues when managing the power cables. Another thing that we noticed in the video is the rather short PCB. Looking at the back of the card, it's possible to see the heatsink through the holes in the backplate, meaning that the PCB should end at about 50-60% of the card's length.

The choice of using 2x fans instead of 3x fans to cool this SKU might be related to the lower TGP of the RTX 3070, compared to the RTX 3090/3080. As per Palit's post, there's no mention that the Jetstream series will be extended to the RTX 3090 or 3080 models.

The GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards are scheduled to release on the 29th of October. Palit will reveal more about its RTX 3070 Jetstream graphics cards at that same day.
