One day following Apple's iPhone 12 announcement, OnePlus has also unveiled its latest competitor. The OnePlus 8T has been officially announced today, including a 120Hz display, a quad-camera setup and new fast charging technology.
The OnePlus 8T ships with a 6.55-inch ‘Fluid AMOLED' display with a 120Hz refresh rate and low response time, paving the way for a smooth experience while just scrolling or even in games. As you would expect from a modern smartphone, HDR visuals are also supported, with the OnePlus 8T supporting the HDR 10+ standard.
Under the hood, you will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with support for 5G wireless connectivity, paving the way for faster network speeds than ever before. You will also find a 4,500 mAh battery inside, which promises all-day battery life and thanks to ‘Warp Charge 65', you can get “a day's power in 15 minutes”.
To ensure that the phone is always performing optimally, the OnePlus 8T also boasts a ‘multi-layered gaming grade cooling solution', which involves a series of heatsinks and heat pipes.
On the rear, you will find a quad-camera setup, including a 16MP wide-angle lens, a 48MP main camera, a macro lens and a monochrome lens. The front of the phone has a holepunch camera embedded in the top left corner of the display.
The OnePlus 8T is available to pre-order starting on the 14th of October, with prices starting at £559.
