Nvidia has reportedly delayed RTX 3060Ti launch to December 2nd

Although Nvidia hasn't confirmed the existence of an RTX 3060Ti SKU yet, there have been a lot of rumours surrounding its release date and specifications. First availability rumours pointed to a release during October, but it was then allegedly postponed to November 17th. Apparently, there has been another delay, pushing its launch to December 2nd.

According to Expreview, the reason behind pushing the release date is due to the launch of the Radeon RX 6000 series. If the RTX 3060Ti would have launched on November 17th, it would be too close to the Radeon RX 6000's release, which is scheduled for November 18th. To avoid the overlapping of spotlights, Nvidia decided to move the release date to December 2nd.

As per TechPowerUp, the RTX 3060Ti will feature the same GPU as the RTX 3070 (GA104), but with 4864 CUDA cores and clocked at 1410 (base) and 1665 (boost). Memory configurations consists of 8GB of GDDR6 clocked at 14Gbps across a 256-bit bus, resulting in a total bandwidth of 448Gbps.

As far as performance goes, rumour has it that the RTX 3060Ti will have similar performance to the RTX 2080 Super.
