AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 9 5950X CPU-Z scores emerge

We already got a glimpse of what the Ryzen 5 5600X will be capable of, but with the new CPU-Z results, we now also have an idea of how the Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 9 5950X will perform once we have them in our hands.

Starting with the results spotted by @9550pro on Chiphell, the 16C/32T Ryzen 9 5950X has scored 690.2 on the single-thread benchmark and 13306.5 on the multi-thread benchmark. For comparison purposes, a stock Intel Core i9-10900K scores about 584 and 7389, while one overclocked to an all-core frequency of 5.3GHz scores 643 and 8174, respectively.

The Ryzen 9 5950X was also found standing on top of the chart of the PassMark single-thread chart, scoring 3693, placing itself 7% above the previous Ryzen 5 5600X score that we have shared with you. On the multi-thread PassMark benchmark, it could even beat the Ryzen ThreadRipper Pro 3955WX, with 45564 vs 42152 points.

An entry of a Ryzen 7 5800X was also found on CPU-Z Validator by @TUM_APISAK. The AMD processor was clocked at an all-core frequency of 4.5GHz on a B550M Aorus Pro, paired with 32GB of DDR4-2400 memory. This system scored 650 on the single-thread benchmark and 6593 on the multi-thread one. Despite being clocked 0.8GHz below the overclocked i9, it still beats it in the single-thread benchmark.

AMD is scheduled to release the Ryzen 5000 series processors on the 5th of November.

KitGuru says: Are you impressed with the performance of the Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 9 5950X? Have you already decided which Ryzen 5000 processor you will pick?
