The Outer Worlds gets a graphical boost on Nintendo Switch next week

The Outer Worlds didn't get off to the best start on Nintendo Switch, with poor visuals and performance. Things are starting to turn around though, with an upcoming patch set to bring a number of improvements.

Announced via The Outer Worlds Twitter account, a new patch is coming to the Nintendo Switch version on the 21st of October and following that, the game will be going on sale on the 22nd of October too.

As you can see in the tweet above, there are some graphical improvements. Terrain and lighting in particular seem to be looking a bit better than the initial release.

We'll have to wait until next week to get a full idea of the visual improvement, but things seem promising based on these initial screenshots.
