Acer launches six new Predator and Nitro gaming monitors

Acer is about to expand its lineup of gaming monitors with six new models targeting a wide range of price points and specifications. Acer is also the first brand with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitors, capable of filtering out the blue light without losing the vividness of colours.

Victor Chien, president of digital display business at Acer, stated that the new Acer monitors “feature the industry’s newest technology”, providing gamers with smooth visuals and enhanced ergonomics. The new Acer Predator and Nitro monitors were designed to “appeal to the most power-hungry gamers as well as those who just want to have fun”.

First, we have the Predator XB273U NV certified with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe and featuring Acer VisionCare 4.0, which includes LightSense, AdaptiveLight, ColorSense and ProxiSense to automatically adjust the monitor's brightness and colour temperature depending on the ambient light, reducing the user's eye strain.

This monitor features a 27-inch QHD Agile-Splendor IPS with a 170Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. This 8-bit panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum and is calibrated to offer a Delta E<1. Additionally, it's certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and features RGB LightSense to synchronize the “screen’s colours to music, media and eSports tournaments” and an ergonomic stand that allows users to adjust the monitor to their liking.

The Predator XB273U NV will be available in EMEA and NA in January 2021 priced at €549/$549.99.

The 24.5-inch Predator XB253Q GW is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and features a FullHD IPS panel that can achieve a 280Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms (GTG) response time, making it perfectly suited for first-person shooters. This monitor also features RGB LightSense and a similar ergonomic stand to the XB273U NV.

The Predator XB253Q GW will be available in EMEA and NA in January 2021 for €449/$429.99.

The XB323U GX features a 32-inch QHD panel with up to a 270Hz refresh rate and up to a 0.5ms (GTG) response time. The last Predator monitor is the 34-inch X34 GS, which features a UWQHD Agile-Splendor IPS with a 180Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms (GTG) response time.
