Computex 2024: Lian Li Cases, Wireless RGB controllers and more

At Computex this week, Lian Li has unveiled a good range of new PC cases, as well as eye-catching accessories like the Strimer Plus and the Uni Fan SL V3. Leo takes a deep dive into all of the new reveals…

Lian Li is announcing several new cases this week, including the LANCOOL 207 and 217 cases, and a new O11 Vision Compact.

The LANCOOL 207 is M-ATX sized but can house an ATX motherboard. The motherboard tray has been lowered and recessed into the cable management chamber to create enough space. Additionally, PSU mounting is moved to the front of the case, with the ports facing the left side panel for direct access. This means you can fit not only an ATX motherboard, but a 360mm AIO radiator, GPUs up to 410mm long and PSUs up to 160mm long. Hidden behind the PSU shroud, you will also find two pre-installed 120mm fans, and at the front there are 30mm-thick 140mm ARGB fans with infinity mirrors.

The LANCOOL 217 is competing with the Fractal Design North with its wooden exterior. It features two forms of dust protection, with traditional mech filters, as well as an inner-fan filter on the intake and exhaust fans. The fans also feature a cleaning mode that reverses the front fan blades to shake off dust.

The O11 Vision Compact is a refined version of its larger sibling. It comes with two different top panels, one glass panel for a seamless look, and a mesh panel for improved cooling with a bracket for 360mm cooling radiators. The case supports horizontal GPU installation, and the PCIe slot panel can be rotated for vertical GPU configurations.

For those looking to take their PC builds to a new level may want to look out for Lian-Li's new ARGB accessories.  The Strimer Plus V3 can transform your power cables from something you want to hide away, into another component for a complex light show. The new UNI FAN SL V3 is also launching, featuring an all-new wireless controller, offering users seamless control over RGB components.  A new partnership with Lian Li will also see a new L-Connect 3 embedded with SignalRGB to offer a more streamlined way to control lighting effects across all components.
