AOC introduces the 24G2AE and 27G2AE gaming monitors

AOC has more gaming monitors hitting the market before the end of the year – this time with IPS panels, FreeSync and fast response times. Both the 24G2AE and 27G2AE are designed to provide users with “well-rounded graphics no matter what game you’re playing”.

Featuring FullHD IPS panels with 144Hz, 1ms MPRT, and wide viewing angles, the 24G2AE covers 128% of the sRGB colour space and 108% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut, while the 27G2AE covers 118% of the sRGB spectrum and 88% of the Adobe RGB gamut. These 8-bit panels offer 250nits of typical brightness and a rated contrast ratio of 1000:1.

To ensure the “best quality visuals”, these monitors feature FreeSync Premium to offer a tear-free gaming experience. There are also 6x colour presets to choose from, depending on the type of game, AOC Low Input Lag mode, providing even lower response times, and G-Menu, a piece of software that users install on their PC to adjust the monitors' settings.

This monitor only offers tilting capabilities with the included stand, but it features VESA 100x100mm support if users wish to enhance its ergonomics. These monitors also include 2x 2W speakers, a 3.5mm audio-out jack, a 3.5mm audio-in jack, 2x HDMI 1.4 ports, a VGA port, and a DisplayPort 1.2.

The 24G2AE and 27G2AE are available for pre-order now, for £189.90 and £232.90.
