As Sony prepares to launch its next generation PlayStation 5 console, many of the console manufacturer’s first party studios appear to be prepping their recent releases for enhanced support with the PS5 hardware. Sony Bend has now announced that its open world zombie game ‘Days Gone’ will be playable at “Up to 60FPS w/ Dynamic 4K.”
With the PlayStation 5 less than 10 days away from its US launch, Sony appears to be bolstering its launch line-up with enhancements being brought to many of its biggest PS4 exclusives. With games such as Ghost of Tsushima and God of War already promised to see their frame rates doubled to 60fps, Sony Bend has now confirmed that its most recent title, Days Gone will also be seeing improved performance on the PS5.
If you're taking a ride on the Broken Road for the first time, or finishing up NG+, here's what you can expect when you boot up #DaysGone on the #PS5:

In an announcement on Twitter, the studio confirmed that Days Gone on PS5 will benefit from “Up to 60FPS w/ Dynamic 4K” as well as offering “Save Transfers from PS4 to PS5”. Days Gone on the PS4 Pro operated with a checkerboarded 4K resolution at 30fps – so this upgrade would be rather significant.
With games such as God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and now Days Gone offering enhancements on the PS5, it’ll be interesting to see just how comprehensive these end up being. With many of Microsoft’s first party titles, the console manufacturer has promised enhancements beyond just resolution and frame rates. Luckily, we don't have too much longer to wait to experience these upgrades.
