Pros
- Lots of cable choices.
- Nice hard-shell case.
- Nice visual and tactile textures.
- Headset lights up.
- 3.5mm sound was great for music.
- The mic is good quality.
Cons
- No lights when using 3.5mm cable.
- Cups are not really that thick.
- The fit wasn’t that great around my ears.
- DSP sound card was disappointing and also gets a little warm with use.
- Couldn’t really get a good sound for gaming.
- Volume dial was temperamental.
KitGuru says: The PRECOG headset is OK all round, the dedicated DSP soundcard was disappointing in terms of sound quality but the Hi-Res Audio-certified 3.5mm option was great. The Primer mouse will get the job done and it does have a good sensor, but the rough edges and an overall budget design left us wanting more.
