The PlayStation 5 is just days away from its official launch but of course, this is just the beginning of Sony's next-gen campaign. In 2021, Sony will be following up with two major exclusives.
Both of these exclusives have already been announced – Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West. However, Sony had not provided launch windows for either game outside of 2021. Now, things have been narrowed down a bit.
In the first half of 2021, we can expect to see Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart release on PS5, complete with its super fast loading times and ray-traced reflections. Then in late 2021, just in time for the holiday season push, Horizon Forbidden West will be launching.
In the case of Horizon Forbidden West, that game will also be coming to PS4, so your current console still has some life left in it. It is unlikely that we'll see many first-party cross-gen exclusives beyond this point though.
KitGuru Says: Two big exclusives a year is typically what I hope for from a new console, so Sony is on a good track so far. Are any of you planning on upgrading to a PS5 during its first year?
