Inno3D introduces the RTX 3090 and 3080 iChill Frostbite graphics cards

Following the success of the RTX 20 series iChill Frostbite graphics cards, Inno3D gave the RTX 3090 and 3080 the same treatment, introducing the RTX 3090/3080 iChill Frostbite cards featuring an updated design.

The waterblock found on the RTX 30 series iChill Frostbite graphics cards features high-quality components and outstanding RGB lighting. As per Inno3D, a temperature of 60-65ºC is achievable by using a 240mm or 360mm radiator.

The updated waterblock is now even better at cooling thanks to its new design. The components were repositioned, the coolant flow optimised, and the thermals pads are now 1mm thick. The nickel-plated copper block was also changed, now being 5.5mm thick. The base of the waterblock is made of pure copper, which is then nickel plated to improve cooling efficiency. All these improvements result in better and more efficient cooling of all the critical components of the card, including the memory, VRMs, and the GPU.

The “transparent, bold and striking” design of these waterblocks shows the insides of the cooling solution, perfect for those who want to showcase their systems and loops. Both cards come clocked at factory frequencies on the memory and base clock. Boost clocks of both cards come with a 3.5% gain, increasing the boost clock to 1755MHZ on the RTX 3090 iChill Frostbite, and 1770MHz on the RTX 3080 iChill Frostbite.

Pricing and availability have not been shared yet. You can learn more about the Inno3D RTX 3080 iChill Frostbite HERE, and the RTX 3090 iChill Frostbite HERE.
