Samsung’s G5 C34G55T looks to be its best ultra-wide gaming monitor so far

Samsung's latest addition to the G5 series of gaming monitors is the C34G55T. This curved monitor features a 1000R curvature, UWQHD resolution, high refresh rate, low response times and support for HDR content.

The Samsung G5 C34G55T has a 34-inch curved VA panel with 165Hz refresh rate, 3440x1440p resolution, 1ms of response time (MPRT), and matte coating. This panel has a colour depth of 8-bit (16.8 million colours), a contrast ratio of 2500:1, and 250nits of brightness. Despite the relatively low brightness rating, this monitor is advertised as supporting HDR10 content.

Gaming features such as FreeSync Premium and Adaptive Sync offer remove screen tearing while gaming. Additionally, flicker-free and low-blue light modes are available to reduce eye strain.

Regarding connectivity, there's an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio-out jack. The stand only allows the monitor to tilt (-2º to 18º), but there's support for a VESA 75x75mm mounting bracket, so you can hook up a third-party stand or arm for better ergonomics.
