It has been reported that AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 8000 series won't have the same GPU diversity as the last two. Unlike previous iterations, the RDNA 4 desktop GPU series is expected to feature only two GPUs: Navi 48 and Navi 44. Industry insiders believe the Navi 48, which has recently surfaced in a shipment manifest with an XTX version, will be the higher-tier chip in the line-up.
Following the rumoured cancellation of the high-end multi-chiplet Navi 4x GPUs, AMD's focus on the mid-range and mainstream segments has led to ongoing discussions about the Navi 48 XTX GPU potentially driving the Radeon RX 8800 or RX 8700 series. Rumours suggest it could sport 18Gbps GDDR6 memory and be manufactured by Samsung, as indicated in recent shipment manifest data from Everest.

In addition, @harukaze5719 found a few other printed boards beside the 102-G28201 (Navi 48 XTX) from Everest's post, including a 102-G28211, a 102-G28501, and a 102-C48701. We're still unsure which GPU these boards use.
Although earlier speculations pointed to an earlier release, the most recent reports indicate that the debut of AMD's Radeon RX 8000 series may not happen until 2025.
