CES 2020 was able to take place this year just ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic. That won’t be the case for CES 2021 though, which will be an all-digital event due to continuing health concerns. Still, big names will continue to be involved, including AMD.
Today, the AMD Keynote for CES 2021 was announced and dated. As expected, CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, will head up the keynote, which takes place on the 12th of January at 4PM GMT.
As for what we can expect, AMD promises the following:
“During the keynote, Dr. Su will highlight AMD’s high-performance computing and graphics solutions portfolio and outline the company’s innovative vision for the future of research, education, work, entertainment and gaming. You can also expect a showcase of product demos and groundbreaking innovation that AMD and partners are driving through their technologies.”
The keynote is due to last one hour. Currently, rumours point towards new laptop processors being announced during this event, and perhaps RX 6700 series GPUs too.
