be quiet! launches Pure Rock Slim 2 CPU cooler and MC1 series SSD heatsinks

be quiet! is expanding its line-up of PC cooling gear this month with the launch of the Pure Rock Slim 2 CPU cooler and new MC1 and MC1 Pro M.2 SSD coolers.

The Pure Rock Slim 2 is the latest air CPU cooler from be quiet!, featuring compact dimensions, a 92mm Pure Wings 2 fan and the ability to dissipate up to 130 watts of heat. With this cooler, the mounting process has been optimised to ensure an easy set up even in more compact cases. The Pure Rock Slim 2's slim heatsink also has three heat pipes running through it to transfer heat away from the CPU.

As for the MC1 and MC1 Pro M.2 SSD coolers, these are passive heatsinks intended to keep your M.2 SSD running at high speeds for longer periods without thermal throttling. The difference between the two is that a heatpipe is included in the MC1 Pro cooler, which will help it transfer heat away from the SSD faster than the standard MC1.

The be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 2 will be available starting on the 23rd of March for £23.99. The MC1 and MC1 Pro M.2 SSD coolers will be available in April, with base version costing £11.99 and the Pro model coming in at £14.99.
