Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 back in 2020, bringing back the cult-classic action RPG in remastered form. This year, Nintendo Switch owners will get a chance to play it.
This week, THQ Nordic confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on the 16th of March 2021. As you would expect, the package includes the base game and its three DLC expansions – The Teeth of Naros, Legend of Dead Kel and Weapons and Armor bundles.
Interestingly, this isn't the end for Kingdoms of Amalur either. While we aren't getting a direct sequel in the immediate future, the remaster will be getting a brand new expansion called ‘Fatesworn'. This new expansion will release later this year for all platforms that Re-Reckoning is available on.
For those who don't know, Kingdoms of Amalur originally released back in 2012. The project was a collaboration between Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion designer Ken Rolston and best selling author R.A. Salvatore.
