Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has sold 8 million copies worldwide

Bandai Namco recently announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has surpassed eight million copies sold worldwide. The development teams have teased upcoming content for the game to celebrate the milestone.

Although Bandai Namco is now more focused on launching the new Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero (launching October 11th), Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot still deserves recognition for selling over 8 million copies worldwide. That makes it one of the best-selling Dragon Ball games of all time.

This CyberConnect2-developed RPG transports players into the dynamic world of the renowned Dragon Ball series, guiding them through the series' iconic story arcs. With an engaging action combat system that enables aerial manoeuvres, hand-to-hand combat, and signature Ki-based attacks. Fans also get the opportunity to play as a number of characters from the series, each with their own skill trees. The game has had two season passes since launch, adding in three DLCs each, including content focused on Bardock and the destruction of Planet Vegeta, an episode based on Future Trunks and some Dragon Ball Super content too.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam (with a 75% discount until July 11th).
