We're used to seeing Cooler Master's name pop up when it comes to peripherals, cases and even power supplies but not in the monitor space. That is changing this year, with Cooler Master preparing four different gaming monitors for 2021.
Cooler Master first began its push into the gaming monitor market last year with the GM34-CW, a curved ultrawide monitor. There are four more monitors joining the line-up in 2021 – the GM32-FQ, GM32-CQ, GM27-FQ ARGB and the GM27-FF.
The GM32-FQ is a 32-inch 1440p monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate and a panel that is capable of displaying 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The GM32-CQ is similar, but packs HDR400 certification and includes a 1500R curvature for those who prefer curved gaming monitors.
The two 27-inch monitors are easier to differentiate. The GM27-FQ ARGB uses a Fast-IPS panel, capable of covering 99% of the AdobeRGB colour gamut at 1440p. As a Fast-IPS panel, it is capable of 1ms response times and a 180Hz maximum refresh rate. Meanwhile, the GM27-FF is a competitive/esports focused monitor, with an impressive 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time for a super smooth gaming experience.
All four Cooler Master monitors are expected to begin shipping in Q1 2021. Pricing starts at $349 for the GM27-FF and goes up to $549 for the GM27-FQ. Both 32-inch displays are listed with a $499 MSRP.
