Immortals Fenyx Rising gets a free demo this week alongside new DLC

Immortals Fenyx Rising has been a tad overshadowed by Ubisoft's other major holiday 2020 release, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In an effort to get more players to try out the new IP, Ubisoft has decided to release a playable demo version of the game this week.

Immortals Fenyx Rising previously had a demo on Google Stadia, but of course, playing the game locally is always going to deliver a better experience. The demo is available now on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect (formerly known as uPlay).

The demo itself is a non-spoiler demo, so a unique quest was created specifically for it, allowing players to try a bit of everything the game has to offer from combat to exploration and puzzle solving. With that in mind, if you do decide to pick up the full game afterwards, the demo quest won't be there.

This isn't the only Immortals Fenyx Rising news to drop this week either. The game also just released its first DLC – A New God, which adds new abilities and a new area to the map to explore, as well as a new questline. This is available standalone for £12.99 or as part of the £30 season pass.
