Tales from the Borderlands returns to digital stores this month

Back in 2018, following the swift collapse of TellTale Games, Tales From the Borderlands was pulled from sale and delisted from digital store fronts. Now, in 2021, it looks like the game will be restored thanks to a new licensing agreement. 

TellTale initially developed Tales from the Borderlands under a license from Gearbox. When TellTale went bankrupt and shut down, those licensing agreements were void, so many games had to be pulled from sale including Tales from the Borderlands. As we can see from Gearbox's tweet, a new deal has been reached with Telltale, allowing Tales from the Borderlands to be sold once again across consoles and PC.

Tales from the Borderlands tells a story set between the events of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. It is widely regarded as one of the best licensed-based Telltale games. It returns to sale on digital store fronts on the 17th of February.
