Blizzard Arcade Collection of 90s classics leaks ahead of BlizzCon

The BlizzCon announcement leaks continue ahead of this weekend's virtual event. This time around, a collection of Blizzard Classics have leaked, with the studio bringing back three games from its humble beginning back in the 90s.

A leaked listing for the Blizzard Arcade Collection was spotted on the PEGI website by Gematsu. Interestingly, this collection also appears to be releasing for PC later today, indicating a surprise announcement and immediate release during BlizzCon's opening keynote.

There are three games in this collection, the first of which is The Lost Vikings, a puzzle platformer that Blizzard released under the name ‘Silicon & Synapse' back in 1993. The next game in the collection is Rock N' Roll racing, a 1993 SNES game that combines racing with licensed rock music from the likes of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and other artists.

The final game in the collection is Blackthorne, a side-scrolling platformer that released for the SNES and DOS back in 1994. The Blizzard Arcade Collection is set to be officially announced during BlizzCon, which begins at 10PM GMT this evening.

KitGuru Says: Blizzard was making games well before it found its footing with the likes of Warcraft and Starcraft. Are any of you interested in going back and trying out the games that got the studio started?
